GTD – Outlook 2007 and Managing a Large Volume of Sales Opportunities

I have been using the GTD Netcentrics Outlook plug-in with Outlook 2007 for about 9 months.  In this process, I have found many strengths and limitations with the latter being exposed because of the nature of my business.

Imagine having 1300 total customers located in 12 states.  Each customer has potentially 500-5000 clients – though at any 1 time we are tracking no more than 10.  We are trying to organize our activity on an on going basis and provide reporting to our management and each of our customers managers as to our activity, and status of business leads we are developing.

It is a beast at times, and I will attempt to share in this blog some of the lessons learned.
